MobaXterm alternative Edgely Console
MobaXterm is a great Windows tool, but it stops at the Windows edge. Edgely Console gives you the same all-in-one workflow, SSH, SFTP, RDP, VNC, remote desktop and Docker, on macOS and Linux too, natively, with a Rust core and zero telemetry.

Where MobaXterm may suit you better
MobaXterm has a built-in X server and a Cygwin-based local Unix toolbox, and years of scripts and macros are often written against them. Edgely Console does neither: if that toolbox is how you work on Windows, keep MobaXterm for it.
Questions
Yes. In MobaXterm, open Sessions and choose Export sessions, then import the .mxtsessions file into Edgely Console: it creates the matching connections. The file carries the hosts and their settings, not their passwords, so you add those once in Edgely and they are stored in the encrypted vault on the device.
Yes. Edgely Console and Edgely Database Manager are free and complete for personal use: every feature unlocked, no time limit, no nag screens, no account needed. A paid licence is required when a company uses them for work.
Yes, natively on all three. The Rust core compiles to native binaries and the Flutter UI is hardware-accelerated, so the same build runs on macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon), Windows 10 and 11, and Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora or Arch. A mobile companion ships on Android and iOS.
Edgely Console imports MobaXterm session exports (.mxtsessions), Remote Desktop Manager files (.rdm, .xml or .json) and Edgely's own .econ, .evlt, .efull and .eset exports. Other tools are typed in once for now. A MobaXterm or Remote Desktop Manager file brings the hosts, ports, users and folders, never the passwords those tools encrypt; Remote Desktop Manager's user names can also go into the vault, and an encrypted Edgely export or a password manager's CSV fills the vault directly. Whichever route you take, the credential lands in the encrypted vault on the device and is never uploaded.
Download Edgely Console for macOS, Windows or Linux, import your .mxtsessions export, and add your keys once. They never leave your machine.
