Investor relations SIGEAD SRL Belgian operator, EU hosting Open to majority

The European, privacy-native infrastructure suite for the next decade of work.

One account, one licence and one vault across terminals, databases, system maintenance and file transfer, on desktop and on mobile, with no credential ever leaving the device.

Where things stand

Applications
Four paid desktop applications, two free mobile companions and an IDE plugin, all behind one account and one licence.
Platforms
macOS, Windows and Linux, signed on every release. Both mobile apps are published on Google Play and on the App Store.
Jurisdiction
Belgian operating company, hosting on OVH infrastructure inside the European Union, Cloudflare as the only public entry point.
Credentials we hold
None. Passwords and private keys stay in the local vault, and the sync API rejects anything credential shaped.

The thesis

Three forces, one window.

This is not a bet on one feature. It sits where three structural shifts meet in the market for technical tooling.

EU digital sovereignty
GDPR, NIS2 and DORA have turned jurisdiction into a procurement question. European buyers are replacing US-only SaaS inside the developer tooling stack. Edgely is on the right side of that line by construction: a Belgian operating company, hosting inside the European Union, and no third-country processor anywhere near a credential.
Zero trust is the default now
A decade of credential-store incidents has made "the vendor can read your secrets" a hard objection to answer. Edgely answers it structurally: secrets are encrypted on the device with AES-256-GCM under an Argon2id key, cross-device sync carries connection metadata only, and a server-side guard rejects any payload that looks like a credential before it is written.
The unbundling of legacy suites
Termius, MobaXterm, DataGrip, DBeaver, CCleaner: point tools, separate licences, separate vaults. Edgely rebundles the daily workflow into one identity, one licence and one cross-device sync, with four applications, two mobile companions, an IDE plugin and a sandboxed plugin runtime for the rest.

The product portfolio

Four applications. One Suite. One licence.

Nested bundles: Console unlocks Database Manager, Guard unlocks Transfer, and Suite unlocks all four for ten euros more than Console alone. Every figure below is the list price the checkout charges.

Console, Database Manager and Guard can also be billed monthly, at €7.99, €3.99 and €3.99. Transfer and Suite are annual only. Every paid plan opens with a 14-day trial.

Early access

Edgely Enterprise Access is in early access and is the one line here that is not generally available. SSH, VNC and PostgreSQL sessions run through the gateway today, recorded, credential-injected, policy-gated and audited, with the control plane, the recording store and a clientless SSH terminal. RDP, database engines other than PostgreSQL and the peer-to-peer data paths are not built. Its own page says the same.

The moat

Four asymmetries an incumbent cannot copy in a quarter.

Zero knowledge, decided at the schema
Most competitors keep credentials server-side because their sync stack assumes it. Edgely made the opposite call at the start: the vault is local, a server-side guard rejects credential-shaped payloads item by item, and the database pins the allowed data types with a constraint of its own. Reversing that decision is a migration, not a sprint.
One Rust core, Flutter clients, sandboxed plugins
Rust engines carry the protocols, the vault, the container work and the cryptography over a shared foundation, and the Flutter clients reach them through a generated bridge. A new protocol or a new product line compounds on that engine instead of starting again, which is how four applications ship from a team this size.
An open plugin runtime
Plugins run sandboxed in wasmtime and cannot bypass the host API. Five official plugins are built in-house, REST Client, Developer Utilities, Cron Builder, Experimentals and a macOS web browser, and the portal carries the marketplace that distributes them. That turns the desktop apps into a distribution channel rather than a single product.
A jurisdiction the buyer can defend
For a French CISO or a German data protection officer, a Belgian company with EU hosting and no US processor in the credential path is an answer the procurement team can sign. For a US-only competitor, that is a restructuring exercise rather than a feature.

The business model

Two revenue lines, one identity.

Recurring, annual
Annual subscriptions per application or for the Suite, billed through Stripe and auto-renewing, with monthly billing available on Console, Database Manager and Guard. Upgrades happen inside the product, with the prorated credit computed before the customer confirms.
Per seat, sold with a conversation
Teams at €119 per seat per year from ten seats, and Enterprise priced per deal because it carries Edgely Enterprise Access at the capability level the customer needs. Both close through the contact form rather than a checkout page.
A funnel, not a single product
Transfer at €9 and the free tiers acquire, Console and Guard convert, the Suite at €89 captures the ceiling. Each application released feeds the one above it, which is what keeps acquisition cost low without a paid channel.
Expansion built into the product
The portal returns the legitimate next step for whatever a customer already owns, with the prorated credit precomputed, and every desktop app reads what its licence unlocks from a single endpoint. Expansion is a feature that exists today, not a line on a roadmap.
Software margins
The applications run on the customer's own machine, so infrastructure grows far more slowly than usage: one server, one database and one edge account carry the platform today. The dominant cost is engineering. The unit-economics pack is available under NDA.

Launch offer in force

While the launch offer runs, every checkout and upgrade is billed at zero and the subscription is tagged so the foregone revenue can be summed afterwards. The configured end date is 21 January 2027. Read any revenue figure against that.

What investment unlocks

From a shipped suite to a category platform.

The platform is built and the applications ship. Capital buys distribution, enterprise go-to-market and the next layer of defensibility, not a search for product-market fit.

  1. Stage 1

    EU enterprise distribution

A direct sales motion aimed at regulated industries, finance, public sector and healthcare, where the jurisdiction question decides the shortlist. The most predictable return per euro on the round.

  2. Stage 2

    Channel and integrator network

Reseller agreements with European security consultancies, managed service providers and systems integrators, and public-sector procurement frameworks where Edgely appears as a pre-vetted EU option. Every partner is a distribution surface multiplied by their own customer base.

  3. Stage 3

    Category leadership

Taking the European, privacy-native position in developer tooling before a US incumbent restructures to compete: analyst briefings, European technical conferences, security publications and developer media, so that Edgely is the name that comes up when a CISO asks for a tool that will pass compliance review.

  4. Stage 4

    Tuck-in acquisitions

Products that plug straight into the plugin runtime, the identity and licence layer or the cross-device sync model, plus selective hires of engineering teams in adjacent protocol and security domains. The shared platform means a bolted-on product reaches suite-grade integration in weeks rather than quarters.

Hosting
OVH infrastructure operated inside the European Union
Public entry point
Cloudflare only. The host publishes no HTTP port of its own
Applicable law
Belgian law, courts of Brussels
Built, owned, shippable
One monorepo of 32 projects, owned end to end: the Rust engines behind Console, Database Manager and Guard over a shared Rust foundation, a shared Flutter design kit, four desktop applications, two mobile companions, a tablet IDE, the Java portal, the plugin runtime, the packaging chain and the enterprise access platform. The HarmonyOS re-implementation in the tree has never been compiled by a HarmonyOS toolchain and is not counted as a product.
Engineering discipline
Versioned schema migrations, idempotent payment webhooks, rate-limited public endpoints, an audit trail, and a release chain that signs what it ships: a notarized DMG on macOS, Authenticode-signed MSIX and EXE on Windows, and GPG-signed DEB, RPM and AppImage packages with a signed SHA256SUMS manifest on Linux. The portal itself runs behind a Cloudflare tunnel, with no inbound web port open on the host.

Ownership and partnership

The entire Edgely ecosystem, every desktop and mobile application, the web portal, the Rust engines, the plugin runtime and the edgely.io brand, is the property of SIGEAD SRL.

SIGEAD has deliberately opened that ecosystem to strategic partners. Minority investment, majority recapitalization and a full operator-led acquisition are all on the table for a partner who can compound the distribution, the regulated-market access or the category leadership already engineered into the foundation. The platform is built. The conversation is about who scales it.
