AnyDesk alternative Edgely Console
AnyDesk is built for reaching a machine anywhere through its own relay network, which is the right tool for supporting somebody else's laptop. If the machines are yours, Edgely Console connects to them directly over RDP, VNC and SSH, with no third party in the path and no per seat subscription.

Where AnyDesk may suit you better
AnyDesk exists to cross networks you do not control: a relay, NAT traversal, unattended agents on machines behind somebody else's router, session recording and a support workflow. Edgely Console does none of that and is not a support tool.
Questions
No, and that is the honest dividing line. AnyDesk and TeamViewer exist to reach a machine you do not administer, through their relay. Edgely Console connects to machines you can already reach, over standard protocols, and brokers no session to a stranger.
Yes. Edgely Console and Edgely Database Manager are free and complete for personal use: every feature unlocked, no time limit, no nag screens, no account needed. A paid licence is required when a company uses them for work.
Yes, natively on all three. The Rust core compiles to native binaries and the Flutter UI is hardware-accelerated, so the same build runs on macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon), Windows 10 and 11, and Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora or Arch. A mobile companion ships on Android and iOS.
Edgely Console imports MobaXterm session exports (.mxtsessions), Remote Desktop Manager files (.rdm, .xml or .json) and Edgely's own .econ, .evlt, .efull and .eset exports. Other tools are typed in once for now. A MobaXterm or Remote Desktop Manager file brings the hosts, ports, users and folders, never the passwords those tools encrypt; Remote Desktop Manager's user names can also go into the vault, and an encrypted Edgely export or a password manager's CSV fills the vault directly. Whichever route you take, the credential lands in the encrypted vault on the device and is never uploaded.
Edgely Console speaks RDP, VNC, SSH and SFTP natively, so your machines answer you without a relay in between.
