Every platform pairing E2E Encrypted Generous free tier
Your phone, your laptop and your desk machine rarely run the same system, and that is exactly where file transfer breaks. Edgely Transfer ships native apps for macOS, Windows, Linux, Android and iOS, paired into one Device Ring, with the same TLS 1.3 transfers and the same absence of a cloud on each of them.
Five platforms ship today: macOS, Windows, Linux, Android and iOS (iPhone and iPad). The HarmonyOS NEXT client is in development, so it cannot join the ring for now.
A DMG on macOS, an MSIX package or a Setup.exe installer on Windows, a DEB, an RPM or an AppImage on Linux, and Edgely Transfer Mobile on Google Play for Android and on the App Store for iPhone and iPad.
Discovery goes out three ways on the network, so devices find each other where a single broadcast method fails. Scan the QR code or confirm on both screens; each device pins the other’s certificate at that moment.
Drag and drop on the desktop, tap on the phone. The transfer is direct and encrypted, the file is verified on arrival, and nothing is uploaded anywhere.

No. Transfers are peer-to-peer on the network both devices are on, which is what keeps them private and fast. A relay for devices on different networks is planned and is not available on any tier today.
Yes. Every transfer runs over TLS 1.3 between the two devices, each with a certificate it generated itself and pinned to the other when you paired them. Nothing goes through an Edgely server, so there is no relay and no cloud copy to decrypt, and every file that arrives is checked against its SHA-256 before it takes its real name.
No. Pair the two devices once, by scanning the QR code or by accepting the request on both screens, and they keep working together with no account and no internet connection. An account is only needed to activate a paid licence.
Sending and receiving files is free on every tier, on as many devices as you like, and the mobile app is free in full. Pro, 9 euros a year, adds downloads and uploads inside another device’s shared folders, transfer history older than seven days, and resuming an interrupted transfer where it stopped. It is also included in Edgely Guard and in the Edgely Suite.
One transfer can carry up to 10 GB, and a transfer that stalls for 60 seconds is dropped so the sockets are freed. On the free tier an interrupted transfer starts again from the beginning; with Pro it picks up from the last byte the receiver verified, even after the app has been restarted.
Download Edgely Transfer on every device you use, pair them once, and forget the email-to-yourself trick exists.
